Happy New Year!

Well to say its been a while is an understatement! Been meaning to update this thing for months, at first I had an excuse.... a good excuse.... morning sickness!!! Thats right, we're having a baby in May... so excited!

With the start of a new year I've made a resolution to post more often, and with a baby on the way expect lots of nursery themed updates! My head is buzzing with ideas, can't wait to get started!!

But first I'll get Christmas out the way with.... got tons of pics to share, we very busy over the festive season... its amazing what you can do when you're not drunk!

Off to pick the Christmas tree...

All wrapped up and ready to brave the snow...

...and there was lots of it!!

After a good few hours defrosting, drying and decorating the tree, we were done...

Then I started on the kitchen...

And anywhere else I could add some festive cheer...

As usual, I spent hours making tags, wrapping and tying ribbon... but I love making the effort.

Pressies for my friend's cute new baby...

We thought it would be nice to make some sweets for the family...

I think the Tablet, Peanut Butter Fudge, Butterscotch Toffee and Christmas Cake Fudge went down well!

Not to mention our homemade Marmalade!

The Main Event
Lastly, some pics from Christmas Day..

Mum and Granny getting stuck into the Baileys

Christmas dinner wouldn't be complete without the trifle!!!

So as you can see, I've been a busy bee over the festive season. As I said before, sobriety is a whole new world to me, its amazing what you can get done in a weekend without a hangover! Maybe I'll become a permanent teetotaler once the nine months is up!?!

.....Eh, no!!

We went in search of some original Banksy...
